Applewood Chipotle Rub is one of our most popular blends. We’ve used this on everything from chicken to salmon to ribs. Any great rub for the grill or smoker tends to have three pillars of foundation- sugar, salt, and paprika. If you have ever tasted a truly great barbecue, the odds are that a dry rub was used on the meat. Dry rubs are used for a lasting, memorable flavor. They are comprised of a blend of herbs, spices, and sometimes salt. Rubs are patted into the meat on all sides before cooking begins, making a crust of tasty flavor on the meat.

Recommended use: 1 Tablespoon of seasoning for 1 pound of meat, 1/2 Tablespoon of seasoning for 1 pound of fish
